It's just exactly half way along now and this is the first time we got to see our little one... not sure whether boy or girl ...
The second trimester has been exactly the way people have described it, WAY BETTER than the first 4 months! I have managed to stay really active, running almost everyday (Pearl is a great little motivator to get out there, she kicks my growing butt out the door, nausea or no, she loves and needs to run!). Although I wouldn't quite call it running, more shuffling. And since moving to the Land of Milk and Honey (Cochrane AB), I've also been able to swim and get on the trainer a couple times a week. (I am determined to race again post-baby!)
